Stoney Creek

Serving Stoney Since 1946

Service area

Lakeshore homes, Mountain subdivisions and a working industrial belt

Stoney Creek splits three ways for us. Along the lake — Battlefield, Fruitland, Winona and out to Fifty Point — the older homes bring service upgrades, aluminium branch wiring, ungrounded circuits and the exposure that comes with wind coming straight off the water. Up on the Mountain, Heritage Green, Valley Park and the newer subdivisions bring capacity work: EV chargers, basement circuits, pot lights and hot tub feeds.
The third is the industrial belt along the QEW, Nash Road and the Stoney Creek Business Park — food processing, fabrication, warehousing and distribution. That is three-phase distribution, motor and machine hook-ups, high-bay lighting, control panels and preventative maintenance scheduled around production rather than around us. We have the bucket truck for the outdoor and yard work that goes with it.

Everything is done to the Ontario Electrical Safety Code, ESA notification filed and inspection booked by us. Emergency? Call 905-634-5577, 24 hours a day.

FAQ

Common Questions

My breaker keeps tripping. Can I just keep resetting it?

A breaker trips because something on that circuit is drawing more current than it should, or because there is a fault. Resetting it repeatedly does not address the cause and is not safe as a long-term habit — have the circuit looked at.

It depends entirely on the fault. Some are found in minutes; an intermittent problem that only appears in certain conditions takes longer. We will tell you what we are seeing as we go.
