HOT TUB & POOL WIRING

POWER YOUR POOL OR HOT TUB THE RIGHT WAY.

A hot tub or pool adds comfort and value to your home, but proper electrical installation is essential for safe and reliable operation. From dedicated circuits to GFCI protection and weather-resistant connections, your outdoor electrical system needs to be installed correctly from the start.
Brant Electric Limited provides professional electrical wiring for hot tubs and pools in Burlington and the surrounding area. We can handle the electrical requirements for new installations, upgrades, and replacements, ensuring your equipment is properly connected and ready to operate safely. Our experienced electricians take care of the details so you can enjoy your pool or hot tub with confidence.

Our process

HOW A POOL OR HOT TUB INSTALL RUNS

01

LOAD CALCULATION

We check whether your existing service can carry the pump, heater and tub before anything is ordered. A 240V hot tub often needs 40–60A, and older panels frequently don’t have it.
02

LAYOUT AND PERMIT

We plan the bonding grid, disconnect location, receptacle placement and trench routes against Section 68, then file the ESA notification.
03

ROUGH-IN AND BONDING INSPECTION

Bonding and underground work gets installed and inspected before backfill or concrete. Miss this window and the deck comes back up.
04

FINAL CONNECTION AND CERTIFICATE

Equipment gets terminated, GFCI protection tested, everything verified and the ESA certificate issued for your file.

FAQ

Common Questions

My breaker keeps tripping. Can I just keep resetting it?

A breaker trips because something on that circuit is drawing more current than it should, or because there is a fault. Resetting it repeatedly does not address the cause and is not safe as a long-term habit — have the circuit looked at.

It depends entirely on the fault. Some are found in minutes; an intermittent problem that only appears in certain conditions takes longer. We will tell you what we are seeing as we go.
